Background

Vignettes™ began as an art and design festival in Edmonton but has since evolved into an experiential design agency. They create everything from small installations to large-scale commercial projects, all focused on telling compelling stories through design. As they shifted away from their festival roots, they needed a cohesive brand and website to reflect their new identity.

Problem

Vignettes needed to transition from their festival roots to establish themselves as a design agency. Their existing branding created confusion, with separate identities for different parts of the company, and their website didn’t clearly communicate their services or showcase their portfolio.

Approach

We developed a new brand identity centered around the concept of "leaving a mark," symbolizing the lasting impressions Vignettes creates through design. This concept was expressed across various applications, reinforcing their story.

For their website, we designed an immersive experience where users could view the site from the perspective of different Vignettes team members, emphasizing their collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.
